Hey guys,
Whenever i leave my pc for a while it goes into hibernation mode and pretty much switches off, when i click the mouse for it to switch on again it goes to my home screen once i click enter so it can load my desktop the pc gets stuck and after about an hour of waiting nothing happens so i switched off the machine with the power button and then when i switch the pc on again it starts up but the screen, mouse and keyboard are all off so i have to restart the machine again with the power button then i am given the option to start up normally or in safe mode etc.
And this happens every single time my pc goes into hibernation mode.
Is this maybe a ram, harddrive related issue maybe the motherboard?
Disable hibernation? You don't need it, really. The PC uses very little power, even when on fully. Maybe just adjust your power plan to turn off the screen after XX minutes, and the harddrives, etc.
Thanks for the reply Morgue,
But i am looking for a permanent solution - i think the problem might be related to the motherboard and i've decided to upgrade to either
MSI B85-G43 Gaming SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Motherboard - Intel Core i7 4770 3.8GHz Quad Core CPU - Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Gaming RAM
OR
Eight Core Gaming Bundle - ASUS CROSSHAIR V Formula-Z 990FX Professional Motherboard - AMD FX 8350 4.0GHZ Eight Core Vishera CPU - Corsair Vengeance PRO 8GB DDR3 1866MHz Gaming RAM
Any thoughts?
