  Hey guys.
  
  It seems i have the worst WORST luck when it comes to computers, after fighting a long battle with my previous machine i put down R7000 and upgrade... alas it was not the end of my problems...
  
  I am a bit of a power user when it comes to PC - i usually have between 8 - 40 tabs open on Chrome, aswell as an Ableton Project, a few folders, possible a photoshop project and a music player open at the same time - but this new machine SHOULD be able to handle it quite smoothly
  
  This is my rig its about 2 months old
  MSI B85 G43 Gaming SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Motherboard
  Intel Core i7 4770 3.5GHz Quad Core CPU
  Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Gaming RAM
  240M Seidon Watercooler
  ATi HD5850 2gb overclocked edition
  
  This is my problem its about 2 days old
  Last night my PC blue-screened with the following error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
  I was unable to photography the Bluescreen it vanished to quickly also dont have a mini-dump (damn Ccleaner..)
  
  Today my PC blue-screened again with this error KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
  I was able to capture the bluescreen (Attached Image and mini-dump attached)

  Start first by making sure your computer is virus / spyware free. Download and run ComboFix from Make sure to read the "How to use".
  You can also make use of online scanners like :
  
  Kaspersky
  
  
  or alternatively Google some:
  
  
  
  Firefox is a way better browser than Chrome, and with that said, do not us more than 20 tabs, as it consumes unnecessary CPU cycles and memory usage.
  Download and install WhoCrashed from here>
  
  Use this program to quickly analyze the crash dump.
  
  In your case ATAPORT.SYS causing random Blue Screen.

  Thanks for the speedy response!
  
  I've run Combofix and Malwarebytes, i've also done a full avast virus scan Combofix seemed to fine quite a lot of bugs, which have since been deleted and Malwarebytes also found about 3 infected files which have now been deleted.
  
  I started using Chrome because my Firefox was giving problems.
  
  I did some research on ATAPORT.SYS - I cant seem to find a solid answer in some cases people state that its hardware related in other cases people say its a virus other places people say its drivers?
  
  How can i narrow down the problem and inturn find a solution?
  
  I've got who crashed downloaded will run it next time my pc blue screens

  There was no mini-dump this time?

  Run diagnostics on your hard drive(s). You can obtain tools from manufacturer websites. Also a good tool to use is Hard Disk Sentinel. Download a trial here :

  Hey Christo,
  Ran the scanner and i have a TON of bad sectors!
  
  Getting myself a 128gb SSD this weekend :)
  (I have another 32gb ssd is it somehow possible to hook the two SSDs up together?)
  
  I have another question
  
  Today i noticed on my CPU Monitor that my machine is using 75-85% of my CPU so i opened up WTM and checked under processes
  Windows explorer was using between 2 000 000 - 4 000 000 K & Waterfox (Yes i decided to start using it) was using 800 000 K
  Which is INSANELY high considering that
  1. i literally only have Waterfox open at the moment
  2. i have a 3.5ghz i7 4770K with a 240mm water cooling block attached
  
  Why the hell is my CPU so packed?
