Well, I've been doing some digging and here is what i came up with.
Core i3 530 2.93Ghz
Intel Tom Cove motherboard with 4x DDR3 1333Mhz, 6 sata2, 12 usb (6 via cable), PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 1 PCI, 8 channel sound and gigabit ethernet
2x 2GB trancend 1333Mhz memory modules
Seagate 1TB
All for about R3750.
That leaves R250. I suggest not cutting back on any of those and rather getting a bit extra to get yourself a decent case. Those could work you out from R300 - R500. Even more maybe but then again the Case is a personal option that I think you have to make yourself.
Anybody have any cases they would recommend?
I STILL haven't upgraded... (I keep on putting off the inevitable.)

Well the problem is that the difference between a 500gb and a 1tb is like R180. So I dont think you can really upgrade other things much. Rather go for the 1tb.
