Okay, so I've done some extra research.
Device Description = USB 2.0
Hardware Ids = USB\VID_174F&PID_6A31&REV_0005
Can anybody PLEASE help???
Perhaps a solution is not yet available?? Win7 is very new, after all.
I just took the bold (foolish?) step of installing it on my home machine this weekend. I SHOULD have dual-booted to WinXP, but I wanted to give Win7 all the space I could muster on my RAID setup. Mistake :( I have several issues and niggles with Win7, some of which I will no doubt create threads for on PCD.
But I have a sneaky suspicion there may be no solution for some of the problems.
Yet.
:D Found the problem!!!
The so called "USB 2.0" device was in actual fact the dumb Web-Cam. The printer did not want to install the drivers due to the fact the "USB 2.0" driver was not yet installed. It basically blocked the process for the printer driver installation. I temporarily deleted that driver from the list, re-installed the printer... guess what? It works! Cool, AND I found the driver for the Web-Cam...
