Good day folks... A collegue of mine just decided to load Windows 7 on his Notebook. All is well except one tiny and very crucial thing. The ATi USB 2.0 driver is not installed and I'm battling to find a driver for it. Is there somebody out there that could help me? Even if it is a Win Vista driver (32bit) I'll make that work.
I need this quite urgently.
Thank you
Hi Dade, just did, thanks for the link, however needs to be activated and costs money to use it. Why can't there just be a decent OpenSource Driver Scanner???
??
First of all, "ATi" USB driver? What would ATi be doing releasing a USB driver? Don't you mean ASUS?
Secondly - why are so many people reliant on driver scanners these days? What happened to the good old days of manually searching for (and finding) the correct driver by going to the manufacturer's website and downloading it from there?
Hey Morgue... I've tried the manual way, even right to the hardware model number and didn't find anything. Not from Google, not from Asus, not from Ati (AMD). So therefore I have to rely on them :(
Have you tried reinstalling the chipset drivers? Should fix the problem.

I would really like to try and re-installing the Chipset drivers... but they're nowhere to be found.
@Morgue: I've tried the Windows Update... solved some driver problems, but this one is still giving me problems. And because of this, I can't install the printer. :(
What is the exact model of the laptop F5 series doesn't help me get the exact driver...
