As the title suggest I'm looking to get and android phone. I have an Iphone 3GS atm but as I've stated in another thread CBA jail breaking every time I want to upgrade firmware for new features and tired of not even being able to do a simple thing like send a file to a friend via Bluetooth.
I don't know too much about android so suggestions on a good phone with a decent camera, enough storage space and lots of features is what I'm looking for. It doesn't have to be the most expensive but I also don't want to be limited at some point coz I went the cheap route.
Was thinking of maybe getting the Samsung infuse 4G or the DROID RAZR, though I haven't really checked prices for them yet.
Samsung Galaxy S2!!!
No comparison :D
I wish I had that phone...
I'll see what I can work out but on my current contract I might have to pay in about R2K
Sounds like a bit of a knock. The question then is, can you handle it or is it not worth the money? ;)
PAY THE MONIEZ!
Have you seen that phone in real life? It's amazing.
Besides it's so good, you won't need to buy a phone for the next 3-4 years :D
DOOO IT DADE! :D
I'm still using my HTC Desire and it's about 3 years old now and it still beats the pants off all but the top few phones on the market.
Well, I don't have exact pricing atm of what I'd need to pay in. I just don't want to spend like R200 on top of the contract that's already over R300 without any additional charges like SMSs and calls (if I go out of bundle).
On the other hand, I did have the iphone 3G and now have the 3GS and the speed difference was amazing. So something that I don't really wanna go back to is a phone that takes forever to load the apps and stuff. I would name a couple of features but I'm sure pretty much any smartphone out there (besides apple) has them standard anyway coz it's nothing new. Simple stuff like set an mp3 as a ringtone (can't do that with iphone) send a file to my friends or receive from them via bluetooth or something (iphone can't do that). Copy files from any random pc without having to wipe all my current content (itunes, what a headache).
On top of that, I'd like to be able to run stuff like VNC, windows RDP, putty and a few more on it, so I can log into clients's systems if I don't have my laptop with me and something is wrong.
I'll be sure to look into it. Just don't know if there might be a successor coming out soon that might make the price drop a little making it worthwhile waiting just a little bit.
If all fails after you have done the research and your still not sure which one you want, flip a coin for it. Generally the one you hope for will be revealed because you will be looking for one particular side of the coin to land.
Lol, I'll give it a bash.
