Hey guys
I had an account on PC doctors previously but i cant remember the username so i made a new account.
OK so here is my problem
-Computer starts up gets to welcome screen gets stuck
-Computer seems to be on but no display on the monitor
-Computer gets stuck on windows load-up screen
-Mouse and keyboard don't come on until i change USB ports at the back
-Computer usually switches on after a few attempts where i have to manually unplug it from the wall and restart
-Sometimes it goes into repair mode and attempts to restore my computer to a previous boot which worked which is often the same day but a few hours earlier.
Here are my specs
-I'll attach a AIDA64 report to the thread with detailed information regarding my computer specifications
-I'll also be attaching a dxdiag report which you might find handy
(My computer is virus scanned on a regard basis and i scanned both of these files before i uploaded)
Hope I've provided enough information let me know if there is anything else you might need
thank you in advance

There was an error when i tried to upload i presume it was because the files where in .txt format so i placed them in a folder and zipped them you'll find them attached to this post
Thank you!
Have you install any new drivers recently for either windows, or any hardware? What about new software?
Have you tried booting up into safe mode and then removing the new drivers or software and restarting to see if it works?
You mentioned it getting stuck at 2 places. Windows logon and windows load screen. Also that it seems to be on but doesn't show anything. So it get's stuck at random places? When it shows nothing is it after posting or even before that? Have you done a memory test with something like memtest?
@Siversmith
-The most recent drivers i installed where the beta drivers for bf3 but i uninstalled them after they where not really attributing to my bf3 experience.
-No new software or hardware that i can recall
@Dade
-It gets stuck at random places and often i have to restore to a point it previously worked
OR
-I change the USB ports of the keyboard and mouse and then after that it usually switches on!
-When it doesn't show anything my screen is lit up with a black background but i know the computer is completely switched on because the start up sound of the HDD has stopped and the fan speed has gone from erratic to constant
-Haven t run a memtest; When i tried was having some trouble with the boot from functionality of the program
@Everyone
P.s Once the PC is on, it stays on no problems at all it seems start up is the only problem!
Random hangups or startups usually point to the memory, how many modules do you have? (too lazy to look at the files you attached now) If you can't do a memtest, perhaps try with 1 module out and then another and then another (depending on how many you have) without changing anything else and see if that solves the issue. I noticed you have windows 7. When it gets stuck at the load screen, does the logo still pulse or is it frozen as well?
@Dade
-Frozen, i have 4 modules 2gigs each win7 32bit never had a problem before though
-I'll try that but i just got home now switched it on and no problems odd?
Well first things first, why on earth would you ever want to use win32 but when you have 8 gigs of ram? You can't even use the full potential of your machine if your going to limit it with 32bit. I would suggest moving over to 64bit as soon as possible!
Yeah, 32 bit has a maximum addressable memory of 4GB, that includes your video card so if it has 1GB of it's own the maximum you'll be able to use of your memory is 3GB and that won't even happen coz windows has cache memory, and the CPU and so on as well. So yeah, moving on to 64 bit is a good idea if you have the software to run on it.
@Siversmith
I know, but i have cmd prompt mobs which allow my games to access my full 8gig ^^ as more the machine non of my applications uses more than 2gigs at a time :)
@Dade
Never had a problem with my memory before and read up at what i said to Sivers :)..
@Everyone
Does anyone have any possible solutions?
i will be able to do the memtest + ram Module updates from Monday!
P.s thanks for the help guys :)
