Caus I will again soon, I ordered Portal 2 so will have to make sure it's ready to rock by then! mwahahahaha
OK, here's the PC story.
LOL, first, get a replacement mobo, take it home, sort out EVERYTHING and the last thing I try plug in is RAM, doesn;t fit. Check the specs and I ordered the wrong mobo with DDR3 slots
So, I send it back, wait for the credits, that takes about a week.
Order new mobo, it arrives, onboard GFX but no stress caus I have a GFX card. Plug in everything, plug it in, no video (same as previous mobo)... pull out my hair. Realise it'ca caus the GFX card isn't set as default and it's playing thru onboard, which is only VGA. My monitor (Dell 3007WFP) only has a dual link DVI input. I don;t have a VGA to DVI cable, and my DVI adapters don;t fit the dual link screen input for some reason.
So, I have to lug the huge PC downstairs, dismantle my media PC (easier said then done, I've built it into a cabinet under a 50" plasma which all needs moving...). Plug in PC via VGA, sort everything out, do updates etc. Keep on getting GFX conflicts and blu screens, install latest Nvidia drivers and take it back upstairs.
I plug it in... all cool and working, so I leave windows to update etc and tidy up the room, ccables etc. 30 mins later, blue screen of death, reset the PC and once again no video thru DVI ports! GRRRRRRRRRRR!
So I need to mvoe everything around again, get it downstairs and sort it out. Then find WTF is bluescreening and fix it, then take the PC back up again.
Thankfully, I ordered a VGA to HDMI cable from the US which arrived 2 days ago. that will make my life easier in terms of moving things around from my media PC. Essentially, I rock the hdmi into the TV, VGA into the spare VGA output of my media PC (the DVI output goes to my amp on HDMI). Then I can have a spare VGA cable from the PC so I won;t need to upset the media PC stuffs, so there is hope! Phew!
The problem is that I got myself a bunch of new toys which are getting all my attention in the short term, new watch, more hard drives, SLR camera, new amplifier for downstairs, which means my Nad in my gaming room goes to my bedroom and my 5.1 goes to the gaming room. Also getting new surround speakers for media room. Ordered 8 x 15" woofers so I can build an infinite baffle subwoofer system when I settle down in Dar.
Hahaha, true that :-) But she really doesn't overclock well :s
Depends on their cooling tho, if they are built on a newwer (ie. smaller) form factor then they use less power and don;t overheat as much during overclocking....
