We are confident that we will have a uncapped service for under a R100 before the end of the month. Watch this space!
MyISP
That, I would like to see. And fellow ISPs following suit.
My only concern, in case I haven't mentioned it already? That they call these accounts "uncapped", but then back-pedal furiously and quickly say that these accounts are not for people who want to download continuously.
Um. !huh
What else is uncapped for? Either its uncapped or it's not, they shouldn't lie in an attempt to get people to pay them for a service that isn't "as advertised".
And more specifically, how heavily will these services be shaped? I can't pull much more than 100 gigs a month on my piddly 384k line, and it seems that's not a figure that will worry ISPs like MWEB, but what if I had a 512k or 4Mb line?
Ha, it's obvious to me that
some folks in South Africa got a little over-excited before they should have. The day we get
true uncapped access at a decent price is still far off, methinks.
