Ok, so I did a stoopid thing: I decided to creat an Admin user account on my XP machine. So what happened to my old desktop, and will I ever be able to retrieve all the stuff in my old 'My Documents' folder?

Jake, long time no see buddy ;)
Creating an Admin account won't harm your other user account(s). To log in using a different account, click Start, then click Log Off (UserName).
You should now be able to choose whether to Switch User or to Log Off. If you click Switch User, you should be presented with a screen showing you all the user accounts on your current machine. Click on the icon next to the one that you want to log in as. You may have to supply a password if the account has a password.
Of course, you could choose to Log Off instead. The difference between logging off and switching users is that you can continue to run programs and other processes when you switch users.
Let us know how you progress!

Hi Morgue! Yea, been a while!
Ok, so I got it sorted.
It goes like this: No, you can't switch or log off an account! Nope. Because once you create an account, the default Administrator account disappears. So what now?
You have to log off and then... Ctrl+Del twice, which then allows you into Windows & choose the Administrator that disappeared!

I'm not sure exactly what you've done, but you should still be able to access all your files, by going to C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents. And your old desktop can be reached in teh same manner.
To check what accoutns are activated and everything you can go to the Control Panel and then selct User Accounts, although I assume you've already checked there, as that's where you would have created your new account.
OK
Relating to the above question:
1)Is it possible to rename the the Administrator account?
2)If not, is it possible to transfer the Administrator account to another account?
Thanks

I'm still not 100% sure what you've done or your current setup.
But by accessing your data in "C:\Documents and Settings\"account name"\My Documents" You should be able to move all your files to a different acount.
