  Here is my bootchart for Ubuntu 10.04 (Development Branch)
  
  
  
  
  I'm using this to try see where I can speed up my boot-time.
  
  Unfortunately Lucid is going to ship with the 2.6.32 kernel. There is a new kernel out 2.6.33 which has features which enable it to fully use the power of core i7/i5 processors (what I have.) So I may compile the 2.6.33 kernel for myself at some stage to see how that goes :)

  Here are some screenshots of my current Ubuntu 10.04 desktop (Lucid Lynx) - Development Branch.
  
  First off we have my desktop showing:
  1)Docky (a dock application, with weather and clock applets running as well as extensions for my music player (showing time remaining in song) and pidgin showing the number of unread messages - not shown here)
  2)Lib-notify - popup showing song that is currently playing (including album art)
  3)Theme: elementary, icons: elementary

  Sweet! Looks awesome man!
  I think if I get my laptop sometime soon I'm gonna dual-boot with Win7 and the latest version of Ubuntu... I'm getting used to using the GUI at least at UCT...
  
  P.S. Awesome wallpapers as well... Could you perhaps post them up? (The field with the road, and the bluey lake one...) Thanks hey! =)
