Putting the laughter into manslaughter

OOh. man. The next frame features someone with a broken arm.
And some 'oxygen challenged' surfers.
Holy damn those are cool. I wonder how long it took to do them. i can barely cut a straight line on a piece of paper let alone do that

I've recently started doing papercraft, which is pretty much the same thing.
Only those guys took it a step further, and make it such that the paper they cut it from is part of the art.
Papercraft = origami, but with scissors and glue.
You can craft 3D models. Animals (Elephants, Cats), Buildings (Eiffel Tower), Anime Characters (Inuyasha)
So far I've made a paper model of a teddy bear with moving legs, arms and head, Jiji from 'Kiko's delivery service', a Tanuki character of unknown origin and a really complicated cat.
My current project is to make a metal version of Jiji with sheet zinc and metal paint.
I'll put up some pics of them soon.
Those are flipping awesome. Seen them before but would love to see someone actually do them. Youtube anyone?
Yeah, those are great. I've also seen them but would also love to see them in the making.
