This still remains excellent. Got it last year sometime in an email but it still cracks me up.
Oh that is brilliant... Absolutely brilliant
Reminds me of the 'Beats the benz' ads from BMW...
Well you wont in SA. It only happens in European countries actually since competitive advertising it not actually allowed.

As far as I know, the "beat the benz" adverts were South African adverts. If not they were definately aired here, but a good 10 years back or so.
First ad was from Mercedes, and showed one of their cars (S Class?) driving around a route with lots of sharp corners etc (I was under the impression it was Chapman's peak drive) and then it all of a sudden drives off the ledge. But then a guy walks up the cliff and back on teh road, and this was to illustrate Mercedes' amazing safety technology.
BMW then put out an ad with one of their cars driving the same road, but it goes round all the corners, it ended with the words "BMW beats the Benz" Indicating how the BMW didn't need all the sadtey features, cause it statys on the road.
Will google and see what I can find, anyone else please feel free to correct me.
EDIT---
It definitely is an SA only advert. Found two references to it online, but just an on the sly mention, one was a reply on to an article, the other was in a David Bullard article.
EDIT--
[blockquote]The classic case in South Africa, from the early 1990s (if memory serves) is the response by BMW to an advertisement by Mercedes-Benz. The latter was shown on the famous Chapman’s Peak route along the Cape Town coast, whence it left the road and plunged down the cliff. The driver survived, attesting to the safety standards of Mercedes. BMW responded with an advert showing its car along the same route, negotiating it safely. The payoff line was, “Beats the bends
it must have been pulled before I saw it coz I really was watching a whole lotta tv back then. now I maybe get 3 hours a week!!!
