Okay guys, I really need your help with something, I installed Firefox with a few add-ons and now my whole PC is painfully slow, nothing opens up or operates at normal speed anymore, in fact it's so bad that for each and every action I perform I get "(Not Responding"). Help me please.

PS How do I make photos smaller? I know how to do it for e-mail as it's built in, but this time I don't need to e-mail the photo, I just need to import and upload it to flauntR for editing and effects?

respect for using firefox
It *could* be a virus or a lack of ram. Firefox does get a bit full of it's self when you open alot of pages.

If you have added 25+ apps and run a small amount of ram (liek 512megs)then yes, that would slow your system.

Are you running a pentium?

You can either do it manually in a program like Paint. But if you have lots of photos to do use Microsoft's (did i actually advise a microsoft product) FREE XP Power Tool "Image Resizer". It's quite useful you just select the images you want resized right click and tell it what size you want them.

Dee, go to Google and search for AVG, download their free virus software thingermajigger and give yer sen a scan to see if there are any baddies on your compers. Other than that you could try using Firefox Portable which is a bit smaller and less intensive if FX is slowing your system down. Firefox portable can be found here:

Firefox can't slow down your entire system, unless it's using huge amounts of RAM (working memory) because of addons or something.

Is your computer slow all the time, even if firefox isn't running? Then it's definitely a virus/adware/spyware or some other nasty. And I can assure you that the firefox setup didn't install it

Add-ons caused Firefox not to respond.
