Here is a good question. When my pc loads up it gives me an option to select 2 windows but in reality it is actually only 1. How do I get rid of it or at least speed the counter up so that it goes directly into windows load up?

Right-click My Computer, Choose Properties. Choose the
Advanced Tab. In the Startup and Recovery section, click
on the Settings button. In the System Starup section,
you can set how many seconds it takes before the default
operating system is selected. Clicking on the Edit button
will allow you to remove any extra boot options (by
allowing you to edit C:\boot.ini).
Just be careful when editing that file. If you make a
mistake, you might render your operating system unbootable ;)
Fortunately, it's not too complicated !grin

The boot.ini should look something like this:
[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
WINNT may also be WINDOWS
Thanks guys !! That has been a constant irratation for me!!
