Yeah, the site has gone quiet. No new threads, and the news posts I (and others) have been posting aren;t bing updated as news so why would anyone return?

AZ-LAN August saw one of the busiest months yet , fully booked, and had it not been for a few people not pitching up (tsk tsk tsk) we would have had to show some people away! Luckily we could seat everyone and have one very fun weekend! As we are only human , and our equipment is not engineered by some Inter Galactic Super wizards we did experience some technical difficulties , with one of the servers that caved in on the way to the event , as well as one of the switches , BUT , do not fear , we are happy to announce that we have spent over R20k to upgrade the network for the September month to ensure that you have the best time while gaming with AZ. So , on to the good stuff - The rAge 2009 tickets are still up for grabs ( they are part of the raffle draw ) and so far only 9 people have bought raffle tickets. Among the raffle prizes you will find Computer Games , Collectors Items , T-Shirts , AZ-LAN October Tickets , rAge 2009 Expo and LAN tickets and maybe some other random items. This month will see another DOTA 3v3 competition , with Magazine Subscriptions and Collectors items in the pot for the winners. The COD4 Competition however will largely depend on the sponsors. Should we however not get any fancy prizes , we might consider making it a "Winner takes all" type of tourney , but we will keep you up to date on that. As we mentioned on the forums and at the LAN itself last month , we might be going for a Counter-Strike competition as well depending on sponsors.
