Sad indeed... I don't have allot of time on my hands and been out of the PC scene... I'm trying to make a comeback. Lets see if we can turn this around!

Yeah, the site has gone quiet. No new threads, and the news posts I (and others) have been posting aren;t bing updated as news so why would anyone return?

Well I used to use it(and it was amazing!), before the devs totally mucked it up by supposedly rewriting it from the ground up (Amarok2)

There are a few other reasons I'm not using atm:
1)It requires a whole bunch of qt/KDE libs which I don't really want.
2)When I did use amarok2 I couldn't get to play a song, never mind the fact that everything else played songs just fine(totem, vlc, mplayer, rhythmbox, banshee, etc)
3)Right now I just want a music player, something that will play my tunes with minimum fuss, I don't need/want album art, lyrics, super fancy playlists, ipod syncing and all that jazz.
4)Rythmbox is awesome

Something that might help when you running low on international bandwidth and have to get the latest version of Linux:

The UCT Linux Enthusiasts Group FTP server =)

Most of the latest releases and pre-releases can be found here =P

P.S. I love the way 10.04 just mounts ntfs drives automatically =)

If you need helping getting other stuff to mount automatically just give me a shout. (FAT partitions for example.)
